At the heart of Canine Country Kitchen is Hayley and her dedicated team, brought together by a shared love of dogs. Together, they create a friendly, caring environment where every dog is looked after with attention, understanding, and genuine affection.
Meet Hayley
Hayley is the founder of Canine Country Kitchen and Hounds on the Hills, built from her love of animals, especially dogs. What began with natural dog food, treats, and toys has grown into a trusted local business. Dog first aid trained, Hayley prioritises the safety and wellbeing of every dog in her care. In 2025, she opened a new premises in Todmorden featuring a dog-friendly café and play and stay facility for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

Our team shares Hayley’s passion for dogs and provides attentive, hands-on care every day. From supervising play and supporting socialisation in daycare to welcoming customers into our shop and dog-friendly café, we make sure every visit is friendly, safe, and enjoyable. Safety and wellbeing, positive experiences, and creating a space where dogs and their owners can relax, play, and spend quality time together are at the centre of everything we do.
